The Tall Order
Unlike your typical rom-com movie how the couple first met wasn’t exactly a meet-cute, but rather, in a true millennial fashion, they met online. It may be unconventional but it was meant-to-be.
On Andrew’s birthday-weekend of 2017, he posted on a message board of a forum looking for someone to talk to, and luckily, 8000 miles away on the opposite side of the world, Angel was up past midnight packing for a trip the next day.
She got the notification and randomly decided to respond not knowing that it would be the best random decision ever. (And that for once procrastinating on packing your luggage for a trip has finally paid off. 😜)

The Grandé Rendezvous
After 3 years of constantly talking, texting and video-calls as well as trying hard to be keep the relationship casual, but failing endlessly, the couple has finally met when Angel got to the USA, February of 2020.
The connection has been real and a lot better than their spotty wi-fi’s combined. And speaking of wi-fi, despite being in the same country the couple still has to rely on the magic that is the internet as they were still separated by states.
Angel stuck in Alabama for her job assignment while Andrew uploaded from Illinois to Washington DC. Though it was hard, they tried their best to have fun and even traveled to see 21 states together.
“Each time we met, she made me cry when I had to leave. She was the love of my life, and it was only a matter of time before I asked her to marry me.”
-Andrew

The Venti Proposal
The couple’s magic number is three. After three years of dating in-person, Andrew has decided to make his move.
Surrounded by their friends and with their families’ love and support, Andrew used a game to surprise Angel with an engagement ring and a promise to get Appa (our future Corgi).
Angel accepted the proposal in a cozy little cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. At the most wonderful time of the year, the couple ring the Christmas of 2022 as an engaged couple.
